NaprawmyTo! Service is an online systems for reporting issues – mending services needed, in particular cities, which take part in the project. The service consists in sending a message notification (alert), which is then transferred to an appropriate institution, responsible for a given category of the issue.
To create an alert, one needs to describe their problem, attach a photo, mark it on a map, as well as determine its category. In order to improve the transmission of information to the system, the application uses an IP/GPRS localization system. On the website, a user can view all the notifications sent and monitor, what actions are being taken with regards to solving the reported problems, or learn why a problem cannot be resolved. The alerts published on the website are organized by categories. Each alert subsite contains a description, map localization, might contain a photo showing a reported problem, information on a user, who reported the problem, as well as information on an institution that should respond to the alert, as well as its contact details. The website users can support the alert, report fixing a problem or write a comment. Information concerning statistics of open requests, those being currently in progress, as well as fixed, and those which will not be fixed, is available for each city – user of the website.
In order to fully use the resources of NaprawmyTo!, one needs to sign-in. Only logged in users can add alerts, all other activities (viewing alerts, supporting alerts, commenting, liking etc.) do not require loggin-in. The website allows to sign-in using Facebook profile. Integration with social media services also includes using ‘Like’ button from Facebook, as well as ‘Tweet’ button from Tweeter. The buttons are available on the pages of individual alerts.
Apart from a traditional website, NaprawmyTo! is also available as an application for mobile devices.
